Most financial assets are reviewed regularly. Insurance portfolios are often left untouched for years. As a California CPA, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (FCA), and a former Price Waterhouse auditor in London, I apply the same independent analytical discipline to life and long-term care insurance that auditors apply to financial statements.

Rather than starting with a new insurance proposal, I review what you already own. That independent approach frequently identifies opportunities to improve protection, reduce long-term costs, strengthen guarantees, enhance living benefits, and preserve family wealth.

Over the years I have reviewed hundreds of life insurance and long-term care policies. Sometimes the recommendation is to make no changes at all. Other times a review uncovers significant opportunities to improve protection while using capital more efficiently.

Independence — not product sales — drives every review.

“Every significant insurance policy deserves a second opinion.”

Many insurance policies remain in force for decades without ever being independently reviewed.

What an Independent Review Uncovers

Opportunities to strengthen guarantees

Ways to reduce unnecessary long-term costs

Coverage gaps and overlaps

Underperforming or at-risk policies

Overlooked living benefits

More efficient use of capital

Options to increase protection without materially higher premiums

A Recent Review

One recent review substantially increased a client’s guaranteed death benefit without a material increase in premium. Every situation is different, but objective reviews often uncover opportunities that policy owners never knew existed.
